Are you open on Sunday?

No, our opening hours are:

Monday to Friday: 9am through 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am until 2.30pm.


Can Freesat be split?

Yes, Freesat can also be split as long as the receiver has a RF loop-through built in, however this will only provide a single channel (the same program in another room). Multi-channel throughout is possible but separate equipment would be required.


Can Freeview be split?

Can I fit Freeview in the loft?

Yes, Freeview aerials will work in many areas; however some locations may need a high-gain aerial.


Can you fit Freeview / Freesat for us?

HE Donnor work with trusted affiliated aerial engineers who can install for you.


Do you close for lunch?

No, we stay open, our opening hours are:

Do you have parking at your premises?

Yes, we have our own large parking area at the shop.


Do you hire out PA systems?

Yes, we hire out small PA systems, e.g. for garden fetes, village halls etc.


How long has HE Donnor been trading?

We started the business in 1963, but first moved to our current location in 1978.


We have an old analogue aerial, do we need to change this to receive Freeview?

Possibly not, subject to your precise location and condition of your equipment, however it is equally conceivable that you may need an upgrade to a better quality (high-gain) antenna to ensure that you are able to receive the full range of available channels.


What is Freesat?

Freesat is a means to receive all available free satellite channels – a satellite dish is of course required, though an existing installation may still work okay.


What is PA, what does this mean?

PA stands for Public Address system… PA, a megaphone for example, is used to announce to the public, large crowds etc.


What type of aerial will I need?

We provide an extensive range of aerials, will recommend the one most suitable subject to precisely how far you are from the transmitter.


What type of CCTV will I require?

There are many close circuit television (CCTV) options available; therefore in this instance we recommend that you contact us more directly so that we can work with you to find a solution best suited to your requirements.

Will HE Donnor deliver and/or post goods?

Yes, in many case we are happy to deliver subject to location, or post items, however please bear in mind that there may be cost applied to make this worthwhile.
